Mercer Foods’ 240,000 square foot facility is at the center of our 20-acre campus. An extensive frozen storage system, both on and off-campus, is used for our incoming frozen ingredients. Finished freeze dried products are stored in temperature controlled areas prior to delivery to our customers. All of these systems are designed to maintain optimum product quality.
The packing rooms at Mercer Foods are humidity controlled and built with state-of-the-art technology to buffer against environmental conditions. This prevents contamination or spoilage of our freeze-dried foods due to excess moisture or foreign material. Dry processing, screening and milling areas are also contained to create a barrier of protection that ensures optimum product quality. This level of protection helps to ensure that each freeze-dried food order we send arrives in excellent condition.
